Hot Summer Fashion! Do's and Dont's

I can't believe how busy this Summer has gotten already!!!

It's just Crazy!!!

Are you experiencing the same thing???



Well todays topic is Hot Summer Fashions, and the Do's and Dont's that can make or break a terrific outfit.

So let's start with some well known basics.




COLOR:

As we all know, every Spring there is a New Color for the warmer season. In fact sometimes there are 2 new colors that compliment each other.

But do we ALL look 'wonderful' in these newest Color flavors?

Usually not.

So what's a Fashion savvy gal supposed to do???

Here's the perfect solution to this dilemma: use that New Hot Summer color in a shade that better suits you. Yes, that's absolutely possible!

There was a time when we believed that each individual could only wear certain colors, and that was it. End of story.

But not so anymore!
Although there may be some colors that, no matter what, they make you look sickly.... but more often than not it's a matter of picking the right shade of that color.

For instance, I look just horrible in almost every shade or tone of Brown. I look like I've been dead for five years and rewarmed slowly! I mean really, really bad.

But I've found that there is ONE shade of a medium darkish brown that has a very redish undertone (kind of a burgundy) to it that I can get away with wearing. Do you remember a few years back when Browns were all the rage.... even in lipsticks??!!!
I was mortified, to say the least.

But again, I knew that if I looked for the right shade and tone, even I could wear a little brown. And the same thing worked for me with tans and taupes. If the shade of taupe is closer to a gray-tan tone, then it's do-able. Provided it's not too deep of a shade.

Now will I drench myself head to toe in them? LOL! No. But I can pull off the New Color for the season, no matter what it may be. And so can you!

So again, remember to look for a shade of the "New Spring-Summer Colors" that will work with your hair, eye and skin colors.

And you too, will be a hit in the Hot Summer Weather!!! Really lookin' cool!
